Van Der Spuy
& Vennote se oorsprong lê al in die laat 1800s, toe
A.M. Kort
na die begin van die 1900s het A.J. Lewis by sy vader oorgeneem.
Spuy & Vennote. Sedert 1997 is hierdie Paarl-gebaseerde firma
The footsteps
of Van der Spuy & Partners can be traced back to the late 1800s
when attorney A.M. Lewis established a legal practice in Paarl.
Early in the 1900s, his son, A.J. Lewis, took over the company,
and during the succeeding years, the name of the firm mirrored
the changes in partners: Lewis & Basson, Basson & Van der Spuy,
and in 1967, Van der Spuy & Partners. In 1997, the structure of
this Paarl-based firm was converted to Van der Spuy (Western Cape)
Incorporated, but as Van der Spuy & Partners, it is still serving
its clients in a highly professional and personal style, with
the added advantage of a highly experienced and loyal staff. In May 2005 they opened a branch in Cape Town and at the end of 2006 the firm became BEE-compliant and a member of the Phatshoane Henney Group of Associated Firms (www.phfirms.co.za or click on PHI logo above))
