BACKGROUND

He
grew up in Bloemfontein, matriculating at Sentraal High School. At
the University of the Orange Free State, he obtained his BComm as
a full-time student, before becoming an articled clerk at Naudé’s
in Bloemfontein and later Van der Spuy & Partners, in Paarl and Cape
Town. After obtaining an LLB at UNISA, he was admitted as attorney,
notary and conveyancer in 1982. He has been a Partner at Van der Spuy
& Partners since 1984. |
