He
grew up in George, matriculating in 1970 at Outeniqua High School.
In his year of national service, he joined the Artillery Air Defence
School at Youngsfield in the Cape. After completion of his studies
he became a public prosecutor and 1978 he was appointed senior public
prosecutor. From 1979 to 1987 he served as State Attorney. After a
four month pupilage, he practised as advocate from 1988 to 1996. In
1996 he joined Van der Spuy & Partners as attorney with the right
of appearance in the High Court. |
